About The Position

RainFocus, a rapidly growing software company serving Fortune 500 clients, is seeking an exceptional Event Delivery Consultant to join their Client Success organization. This role is critical to the successful preparation, delivery, and execution of live events. The Event Delivery Consultant will consult on best practices for live events, drive requirements, coordinate across teams, design onsite solutions, and educate clients on the RainFocus platform and hardware. Candidates should be collaborative, energetic team members who can become experts in RainFocus products and industry best practices, and work well in small, focused teams. DCs are expected to be thought leaders, taking on additional responsibilities to mentor, train, and build the consulting skill set of peers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in process improvement and implementations.
  • 3+ years in software/hardware implementation preferred.
  • Ability to travel to events globally (10-15% travel required; valid passport necessary).
  • Experience collaborating on process creation for live event execution.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining training materials, as well as assisting in onboarding new team members and contractors.
  • Strong ability to represent product needs for the Event Delivery team in development meetings.
  • A consultative approach in guiding clients and partners toward best practices for event success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and vision, ensuring interactions are client-focused.
  • Take ownership of the Event Support Plan and ensure Onsite Quality Assurance checklists are followed.
  • Conduct pre-event testing of onsite hardware/software to prevent issues.
  • Attend events onsite to gain insights, ensure flawless delivery, and support client needs.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks impacting client success.
  • Provide guidance on leveraging RainFocus products for maximum event impact, offering best-practice solutions.
  • Continuously learn and apply the RainFocus Event Success Methodology.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams on live event best practices.
  • Coordinate live event preparation plans with Hardware/IT & Logistics teams.
  • Navigate complex client conversations, providing transparent updates on product capabilities.
  • Keep clients and internal teams informed with timely updates on milestones, tasks, and risks.
  • Prepare and guide RainFocus team members and contractors for exceptional event support.
  • Escalate potential issues or risks through appropriate channels for swift resolution.
  • Balance priorities across multiple projects, ensuring tasks are tracked and completed on time.
  • Collaborate on refining internal tools, processes, and templates for efficiency.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving client and project needs.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software challenges in testing and live environments.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in in-person event delivery.
  • Research emerging functionalities and propose innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrate new capabilities by integrating software and hardware advancements.
