About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our part-time Event Crew across the Washington DC area. This role involves supporting various concert events, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for guests, musicians, and venue staff. We are looking for individuals with strong customer service skills, the ability to manage crowds and de-escalate situations, and physical stamina for event setup and breakdown. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity perfect for those who love live music and enjoy meeting new people.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Passion for events and enthusiasm for engaging with attending Guests
  • Ability to maintain a welcoming atmosphere
  • Ability to remain calm and kindly assertive in high-stress, emotional, or confrontational situations
  • Ability to politely de-escalate unruly behavior
  • Ability to contact necessary help and assist with medical issues
  • Awareness of venue layouts and emergency exits
  • Capacity to stand for long periods
  • Ability to navigate crowded spaces quickly
  • Ability to lift ~50 lbs during setup and breakdown
  • Must have a car or the ability to get to shows across the entire region
  • Willingness to drive up to 2 and a half hours to an event
  • Willingness to travel a long distance to each event is a must, as you will be driving throughout the entire (5) state region

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Guest check-in and seating
  • Be a liaison to Musicians and Venue Staff
  • Assist with the event setup, providing lighting and ambience; then assisting with breakdown and closing of the event
  • Ensure a smooth and memorable Guest experience
  • Troubleshoot and lead with calm professionalism
  • Manage Guest check-in and seating

  • Contacting necessary help and assisting with medical issues
  • Be aware of venue layouts, emergency exits, and coordinate security posts
