About The Position

Fooda is recruiting for Event Coordinators to join their team in markets across the U.S. to support their growing client roster. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants. Fooda feeds hungry people at work through their ongoing food programs located within companies and office buildings. Every day, each Fooda location is served by a different restaurant that comes onsite and serves fresh lunch from their chef’s unique menu. Fooda operates in over 20 major US cities and continues its expansion across the United States.

Looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility.
Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience.
Serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés for team members who have time off.
Driver responsibilities, delivering equipment and food to Fooda sites.
Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures.
Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication.
Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards.
Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching.
Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer.
Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality.
Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve.
