About The Position

Leads and coordinates concession operations during events, working with nonprofit (NPO) volunteer groups to deliver efficient service and a positive guest experience. Provides direction, delegates tasks, and supports volunteers of varying experience levels while ensuring safety, quality, and operational standards are met.

Requirements

At least 1 year of leadership or coordination experience (food service, events, or volunteer environments preferred).
Ability to lead and delegate effectively without direct authority.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
Knowledge of basic operations, inventory, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple concession stands during events.
Direct and delegate tasks to NPO volunteers, ensuring clear understanding of responsibilities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer groups, providing guidance and support.
Adapt leadership style to support both experienced and new volunteers.
Monitor operations and adjust workflows to maintain service during peak periods.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Ensure volunteers understand menu offerings and service expectations.
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
Assist with setup, restocking, and breakdown.
Resolve guest and operational issues promptly.
