About The Position

Seeking an Event Booth Manager for an independent and fun lifestyle and character brand based in Los Angeles. This is a contract, project-based, per-event engagement where the successful candidate will manage on-site operations for scheduled pop-ups, markets, and conventions.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and determine methods for completing agreed-upon services
  • Availability for scheduled events, including weekends and extended hours as needed
  • Maintains a professional presence consistent with client brand expectations
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and adapt quickly under pressure.
  • Transportation & Setup Knowledge: Understanding of shipping, staging, and on-site logistics.
  • Flexibility: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for events.
  • Self-motivated, and able to manage responsibilities independently.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical setup/breakdown of event equipment.

  • Demonstrated experience providing services at trade shows, markets, or pop-up retail events a plus

Responsibilities

  • Transporting, setting up, and dismantling booth displays
  • Organizing and merchandising inventory in alignment with brand guidelines
  • Operating point-of-sale systems and handling transaction reconciliation
  • Promoting and selling products, including upselling
  • Coordinating and directing any temporary event staff
  • Providing a post-event summary of sales and general performance metrics
