As an Event Associate, you will represent Popcorn for the People at local events, support sales activities, distribute samples, and assist with production operations. Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and community members
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to learn and operate a Point of Sale (POS) system on an iPad
• Reliable transportation to assigned event locations
• Ability to work a flexible per diem schedule based on event and production needs
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service, retail, sales, food service, or event experience
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system

Responsibilities

• Attend assigned local events, including farmers markets, sporting events, local shops, service plazas, corporate offices, and other community venues
• Assist the Event Lead with event setup, breakdown, and daily operations
• Engage customers and community members in a friendly and professional manner
• Hand out product samples and provide information about Popcorn for the People
• Process transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system on an iPad
• Maintain an organized and welcoming event space
• Assist in the production facility as needed
• Support inventory, product preparation, and packaging activities
• Perform other related duties as assigned
