About The Position

We're hiring a Full-Time Entry-Level Event Assistant to support charity events, nonprofit campaigns, community outreach initiatives, and live promotional activations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, career changers, and motivated individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in event planning, fundraising, nonprofit marketing, volunteer coordination, and community engagement. No previous experience is required—we provide paid training, mentorship, and opportunities for career advancement. As an Event Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced event professionals to help organize, coordinate, and execute impactful events that support charitable organizations and community initiatives.

Requirements

  • A strong interest in event planning, nonprofit organizations, fundraising, marketing, or community engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, events, volunteer work, or nonprofit organizations is a plus—but no experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of charity events, fundraising campaigns, and community outreach programs.
  • Support event setup, registration, logistics, breakdown, and overall event operations.
  • Welcome and engage attendees, donors, volunteers, and community members with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Help coordinate volunteer schedules, event activities, and onsite event flow.
  • Promote nonprofit initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and community programs while providing accurate information to attendees.
  • Assist with registration, guest check-in, donation processing, and event materials.
  • Monitor attendance, collect participant feedback, and help evaluate event success.
  • Work closely with event coordinators and team members to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a positive, organized, and professional presence throughout all events.
  • Participate in paid training focused on event coordination, fundraising, leadership development, customer engagement, and nonprofit outreach.
