Oktoberfest 2026 Event Assistants
About The Position
Flyspace Productions is seeking energetic and dependable individuals to join their event team for Oktoberfest 2026, a seasonal/temporary event running from October 2nd to October 11th, 2026. This role involves working in a high-energy, busy festival environment to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience. The positions available are Event Assistants, who help with event operations, guest activities, setup, breakdown, and site organization, and Ride Operators, who safely operate festival rides, assist guests, manage lines, and ensure a fun and safe experience. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided, but enthusiasm is encouraged.
Requirements
- Dependable and punctual
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with the public
- Positive, energetic, and ready to work as part of a team
- Comfortable being on their feet for extended periods
- Able to follow directions and established safety procedures
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Available for flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to complete standard employment verification paperwork
Nice To Haves
- Experience with festivals, amusement rides, attractions, customer service, hospitality, concerts, or live events
Responsibilities
- Help set up, operate, and break down Oktoberfest activities and event areas
- Operate or assist with festival rides and attractions
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, helpful customer service
- Help manage lines, entrances, activity areas, and guest flow
- Load and unload supplies and organize event materials
- Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and ready for guests
- Communicate with event managers and other Flyspace team members
- Follow operating procedures and safety instructions
- Work outdoors and stay active throughout your shift
- Jump in wherever the team needs an extra hand
