About The Position

Under the direction of the Student Engagement and Learning Manager, the Peer Collaboration Assistant will ensure the smooth operation of the collaborative learning space. This position is located in Montreal, Quebec and the work for this position is expected to be performed in Quebec. Requirements

  • Current McGill undergraduate student; preferable in Science
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 Year Related Experience
  • English communication both verbally and in writing (Level 4 on a scale of 0-4).

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of French

Responsibilities

  • Take on at least one three-hour Peer Collaboration shift per week throughout the academic year.
  • Set-up and take-down materials in the space.
  • Greet and welcome attendees.
  • Provide general information regarding SciLearn programming and take attendance using an automated scanner.
  • Troubleshoot or raise any issues to the immediate supervisor.

Benefits

  • Hourly Salary: (AMUSE B) $18.00
