About The Position

LAZ Parking is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join their team as Lot Attendants/Event Ambassadors. This role is ideal for team players who enjoy interacting with people and creating a positive experience for event attendees. As an employee-first company, LAZ Parking values its team members and their contributions. Event Staff members are the frontline personnel responsible for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all customers attending events such as sporting events and music concerts.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work outside in any weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.).
  • Must be able to continuously stand for extended periods of time (3-6 hours).
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be open to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement.
  • Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience handling cash, conducting monetary transactions.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to work all Events as scheduled.

Nice To Haves

  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working in outdoor/extreme weather conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process event passes and credit card transactions as assigned.
  • Direct event and transient traffic as assigned.
  • Ensure facilities are swept free of debris following the completion of an event.
  • Promote good customer relations by consistently providing exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
  • Resolve customer service issues or questions as needed or refer the situation to a supervisor for resolution.
  • Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service.
  • Understand how to handle different types of customers and where to direct them.
  • Adhere to dress code.
  • Follow all safety standards.
  • Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.
  • Expedite traffic flow in a timely fashion.
  • Report all incidents in accordance with company policies.
