About The Position

Personalized Nursing LIGHT House (PNLH) is seeking a full-time Evening Program Therapist to provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care in our Evening Outpatient Program. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team and utilizing an integrated treatment model. PNLH offers a full continuum of care and is dedicated to increasing client well-being, decreasing addiction severity, improving mental and physical health, and contributing positively to society. All services integrate substance use disorder, mental health, and primary care into cohesive, client-centered programs using the LIGHT Model of Care, a SAMHSA-recognized Promising Practice grounded in dignity, respect, and empowerment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, etc.)
  • CADC, CAADC, or MCBAP Development Plan (support provided to obtain plan if not currently held)

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum two years of experience in substance use disorder counseling
  • Training in trauma-informed care
  • Experience treating co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Familiarity with authorization processes for Michigan’s PIHP system

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly individual therapy for assigned clients
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups weekly on PNLH-selected topics
  • Use the LIGHT model in assessment, education, and counseling
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and respond to client needs
  • Monitor service utilization and coordinate care with internal and external providers
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with authorization and billing requirements
  • Maintain client confidentiality and participate in case conferences
  • Other duties as assigned
