About The Position

Personalized Nursing LIGHT House (PNLH), a leading behavioral health provider with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Evening Supervisor to join our team! We are looking for a full-time Supervisor to provide clients with trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care in a structured residential setting on Saturday. PNLH offers a full continuum of care at locations in Plymouth, Canton, and Madison Heights. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology(or a Human Services related field)
  • Full licensure (LMSW, LPC, LP etc.)
  • Minimum two years of experience in substance use disorder counseling, preferably 5+ years
  • CADC, CAADC, or MCBAP Development Plan (support provided to obtain plan if not currently held)
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire others
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice To Haves

  • Training and experience in trauma-informed care
  • Experience treating co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Familiarity with authorization processes for Michigan’s PIHP system

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, educational and supervisory support and services to LIGHT House team members
  • Lead and oversee all personnel, assist in clinical supervision of staff. Provide coaching and direction to employees.
  • Assist with completing performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary along with Site Director and Human Resources
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and respond to client needs
  • Ensure groups are facilitated as scheduled (start on time, end on time, cover the topics on the schedule)
  • Oversee client admission and discharges to the program
  • Ensure all State Licensing and CARF standards are fully implemented
  • Engage in clinical activities by caring a caseload as directed by the Clinical Director. Provide weekly individual therapy for assigned clients
  • Ensure employees are properly trained for their assigned duties
  • Serve as an emergency on call and emergency responder when necessary
  • In conjunction with the Clinical Director, facilitate supervision of interns.
