About The Position

Arbour Counseling Services is seeking Licensed Clinicians or Master's Level Clinicians working towards their licensure for Per Diem and Part Time opportunities in their Outpatient Program in Franklin, MA. The Outpatient counseling program offers treatment options and support with a flexible schedule, suitable for individuals stepping down from higher levels of care, seeking limited treatment, or trying therapy for the first time. Arbour's Outpatient program provides individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services. The Master's Level Outpatient Clinician will deliver direct services, potentially including individual, group, family, or other authorized therapy services within the outpatient center. They will participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and ensure all treatments are within their scope of training and competence. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university
  • Completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits
  • Required license eligibility with: LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT
  • Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills
  • Familiarity with support groups
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds
  • Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping
  • Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
  • Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation

Nice To Haves

  • CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed)

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions
  • Support clients through collaboration with other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources
  • Individuals are responsible for managing their own schedule
