About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the bar setup, preparing and serving drinks, handling guest orders and payments, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol serving regulations. The bartender will greet guests, take orders, mix drinks according to standard recipes, and manage the point of sale system. Responsibilities also include inventory management, product preparation, and securing the bar at the end of the shift.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience as a Bartender.
Must be able to show current certification (Safe Serve/TIPS).
Proof of Safe Serve/TIPS certification will be requested.

Responsibilities

Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis.
Requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
Maintains stock, cuts, and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks.
Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
Abides by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys.
Locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.
Complies with attendance rules and is available to work on a regular basis.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
