About The Position

Maintains the Clear Creek Amana School facilities and grounds. This role involves keeping buildings and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas, safe, neat, and clean at all times. Specific duties include thorough cleaning and scrubbing of floors, cleaning fixtures, washing windows, dusting, ensuring doors are locked after evening events, performing regular building checks, moving furniture as required, and performing snow removal when needed. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
• Physically able to stand, walk, climb, use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel objects, squat, stoop, kneel, reach above the head and push/pull or lift/move heavy objects.
• Work in various inside and outside environments being subjected to weather changes and various noise levels.
• Has manual dexterity to handle pieces of custodial equipment such as vacuums, mop buckets, electric floor scrubbers, etc.
• Requires lifting materials weighing up to (seventy) 70 pounds on a routine basis and may be required to lift heavier items on occasion.
