About The Position

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the kitchen team, you will contribute to the overall success of the hotel's dining experience by delivering delicious and visually appealing dining options. This is not a full-service kitchen, mainly continental breakfast with prepping needs.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 years of experience is required or certificate of completion for Culinary in kitchen preparation and cooking or any experience with volume production.
  • Clear communication skills, works well under supervision.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Servsafe Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for food preparations tasks, keeping up with our changing menu.
  • Complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
  • Maintains a clean, tidy, and sanitary work environment at all times.
  • Stores and rotates all products properly.
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Complies to rules and supports the manager or supervisor on duty.
  • Other duties, as assigned by Management.
