About The Position

ESS Clean, Inc. is hiring an Evening Cleaner to join our team at an educational site in Eureka, Illinois. This part-time position offers a consistent evening schedule, approximately 20 hours per week, with a workday that ends by 9:30 PM. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a busy college environment, requiring dependability, attention to detail, and pride in work.

Requirements

• Can consistently work Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM–9:30 PM
• Dependable and shows up ready to work
• Notices the details and takes pride in their work
• Can work independently and stay on task
• Comfortable being active throughout the shift
• Communicates when they have a question or need help

• No professional cleaning experience is required — we’ll train you.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas
• Keep assigned areas clean and ready for students, staff, and visitors
• Follow site cleaning procedures and quality standards
• Notify supervisor when supplies are needed or attention is required
