About The Position

Our Organization is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Speech-Language Pathologist to provide part-time evaluation services for an Illinois school district during the current school year. This position is ideal for clinicians who thrive in assessment-focused roles and prefer conducting evaluations rather than managing an ongoing therapy caseload. In this role, you will focus exclusively on completing comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred for services. You will administer formal and informal assessments, interpret results, prepare thorough evaluation reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support eligibility determination and educational planning. Your expertise will help ensure students receive appropriate services and support to succeed academically and socially. You will work alongside educators, administrators, and families to provide data-driven recommendations that guide Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and service decisions.

Requirements

Active Illinois Speech Language Pathology license.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Experts preferred.
Experience working with students with profound or multiple disabilities preferred.
