Experienced European Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic
About The Position
We are looking for experienced and motivated service technicians to join our ever-evolving team. Our stores culture is one of a big family, we help one another and support our team's growth. We encourage free thinkers and self-starters. We provide certified training and schedule our technicians for instructor led factory training at least twice a year. The Experienced European Service Technician is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of technicians in the efficient and effective repair and maintenance of vehicles.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Experience: European experience or other domestic/import brands with 3+ years of experience as a flat rate technician.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive problems.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- ASE or Mercedes-Benz technician certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive problems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Assign tasks to technicians based on their skills and experience.
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians.
- Monitor technician performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Train and develop technicians to improve their skills.
- Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle repairs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including repair orders and work estimates.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
