About The Position

Noblis is seeking Data Engineers at multiple levels to support national security missions in Chantilly, Virginia. As an ETL Developer, you will analyze client challenges and apply tools and technologies to help design data repositories. You will maintain and expand data pipelines that support national security missions and manipulate data and data flows for existing and new systems. The work includes data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL), data mapping, analytical and operational support, database support, and maintenance of data and associated systems. You will also collaborate with the team and cyber analysts to identify datasets. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Python-based data workflows and experience in classified Intelligence Community environments.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute data extraction pipelines to transport data across multiple environments.
Engineer Python-based ETL pipelines to ingest, clean, and optimize large datasets from varied sources.
Use Python and SQL to clean and integrate data and conduct exploratory analysis.
Design and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Optimize and execute SQL queries to improve application performance and support data handling.
Load data into storage systems such as databases or data warehouses.
Build and maintain data infrastructure, such as NiFi, Pentaho, or Hevo.
Maintain and document ETL workflows and record data movement and changes.
Work in an Agile environment to iterate rapidly with clients.
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and application developers to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
Support data mapping, analytical and operational needs, database support, and maintenance of data and associated systems.
Work with the team and cyber analysts to identify datasets.
