About The Position

Sustain current processes to achieve greater line and parametric yields. Monitor current processes to ensure process complies with necessary parameters and provides a base line for any necessary process enhancements. Develop and transfer new processes to production. Provide pre-process troubleshooting, analysis of outcomes and feasibility of process. Ensure process meets design criteria. Write programs to test, monitor or process wafer. Monitor results of tests. Analyze visual and physical test data to determine disposition of a run, make adjustments as needed. Responsible for equipment maintenance, selection, qualification, and characterization, to ensure maximum operation. Set up and maintain documentation and statistical process control charts on all relevant processes. Review professional publications regarding current processes and process equipment for applicability. Analyze failed runs to identify the source of process errors and recommend process changes. Support company initiatives, such as quality, safety and environmental management, CQI, 5S, yield management, and cost containment. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing techniques and statistics.
  • Skills in technical writing, computers, interfacing with people, problem solving and organization.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, physics, chemistry or related field.
