About The Position

ESY Teacher - Multiple Positions. The ESY Program runs from July 6 - July 31, 2026, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM. Qualified candidates will hold CT certification in Comprehensive Special Education K-12 (165) or other CT Teaching Certification. This role requires experience and knowledge regarding differentiated instruction and inclusive educational practices, as well as knowledge of IDEA and the PPT process. The teacher will be responsible for the instruction of reading using a variety of specialized programs.

• Knowledge and experience in instruction of reading using a variety of specialized programs

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement appropriate and effective lesson plans.
• Develop and evaluate measurable goals and objectives.
• Evaluate students as needed using standards based and curriculum based measures.
• Supervise instructional assistants relative to students on caseload.
• Collaborate with regular and Special Services staff and administrators.
• Establish and maintain frequent communication with parents of students on caseload.
