About The Position

Fish Window Cleaning is seeking an Estimator to be the field representative of the company. This is a hands-on, in-person role focused on visiting commercial properties, assessing windows and other factors, and writing estimates. The primary responsibility is to provide pricing, not to follow up or close sales. This role is ideal for individuals who prefer being outdoors, meeting people, and building connections over desk work.

Requirements

Reliable personal vehicle.
Car insurance.
Valid driver's license.
Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for several hours at a time, including in hot weather.
Presentable and comfortable approaching businesses and initiating conversations.
Ability to work independently and stay organized.
Basic comfort using a smartphone or tablet to log estimates.

Nice To Haves

Previous door-to-door, canvassing, or field sales experience.
Background in trades, field service, or route-based work.
Familiarity with navigating Houston.

Responsibilities

Visit commercial businesses in person (retail strips, restaurants, offices, storefronts).
Introduce yourself and Fish Window Cleaning, and request to speak with the decision-maker.
Walk each property to assess and count the glass that requires cleaning.
Write accurate, professional estimates using the company's pricing system.
Log each estimate into the system for seamless processing.
Target: approximately 60-75 written estimates per week, based on a self-determined schedule.
