About The Position

STS LA is seeking an Estimator for its Special Projects Division. This role focuses on tenant improvement projects, various remodel projects, emergency services, small repairs, and restoration for residential and commercial properties in the Los Angeles area. The primary goal is to maintain current client relationships while developing new ones and generating leads. The company specializes in remodel/new construction for both residential and commercial properties and emphasizes internal growth and career development.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
+5 years of experience in construction and estimating
Experience in commercial or residential bidding/estimating/project management

Nice To Haves

Experience with Xactimate software is a plus

Responsibilities

Making contact with various residential homeowners and management companies to develop relationships and expand our services to new customers.
Walking jobs, taking notes and translating them into estimates and proposals.
Presenting proposals to potential customers.
Working with the Special Projects Project Manager to hand off projects and make sure they are executed to scope.
Reviewing profit and loss once jobs are complete.
Meeting monthly with the accounting team and ownership to review financials.
