About The Position

We are seeking an Estimator / Inside Sales Representative to play a key role in executing sheet metal and mechanical estimates, preparing quotations, and supporting project deliverables. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You will collaborate closely with our Air Distribution and Mechanical divisions, as well as the broader Estimating team, to ensure that all bids meet customer expectations and align with company goals.

Requirements

  • College diploma and/or university degree.
  • Ability to read and interpret various engineering drawings.
  • Experience in sales with strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined file management.
  • Commitment to delivering a superior client experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • A mindset for continuous improvement in estimating and sales practices.
  • Skilled in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Positive, energetic approach to teamwork and communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Bluebeam for quantity takeoffs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage RFQs: Organize, track, and process incoming Requests for Quotation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform Quantity Takeoffs: Complete precise takeoffs using Bluebeam or manual methods.
  • Prepare Bids: Review drawings and specifications to develop comprehensive, timely bid submissions.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Estimating, Air Distribution, and Mechanical teams to align pricing strategies and bid positioning.
  • Sales Support: Prepare shop drawing submittmits, process change orders, generate quotations, place orders, and follow up on deliveries.
  • Training & Development: Participate in internal and vendor-led training sessions (occasional travel required).
  • Product Promotion: Promote E.H. Price Solutions’ products and those of our third-party partners.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
