Job Summary Support the sales effort by handling take-offs from plans and drawings, including sophisticated plant plans.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
- Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline.
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in related field. Certification is required in some areas.
Nice To Haves
- Formal training in estimating and reading plans preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the production and accuracy of material take-offs and developing quotations in support of sales efforts.
- Facilitate the entry of bids/quotations into system.
- Research Dodge, CMD, or any other construction plans for sales opportunities.
- Develop relationships with engineers to discuss plans and specifications.
- Develop vendor relationships to assist in specifications and pricing.
- Maintain Bid Tracking system.
- Provide pricing profile adjustment recommendations.
