About The Position
Zachry Group is currently looking for talented and self-motivated Estimator to join our Estimating department. This position can be located in one of our offices in Chicago, Houston, San Antonio, Charlotte, and Omaha or can be remote if the qualified candidate is not local. This is a great opportunity to get involved in some interesting and challenging design projects for our customers.
Requirements
- Ability to use Cleopatra estimating software on Zachry provided hardware.
- Connection to internet is required to perform the work.
Nice To Haves
- Aspen Capital Cost Estimator certification.
- Experience estimating for process, power or nuclear industries.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine estimating assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for assigned phases of a project.
- Prepare estimate basis documents highlighting the craft scope of work as well as the sources for the quantities, vendor pricing, and productivities.
- Create and include clarifications detailing their estimate basis when clarity was not provided through proposal documents.
- Create comparisons between scope for the project being estimated and past projects which have similar scope.
