The Level II Estimator develops and prepares cost estimates of materials for small to large electrical projects and often produces budgetary estimates. This role involves reviewing bid documents, quantifying electrical items, preparing bills of material, designing practical installations, and identifying labor unit and material pricing adjustments. The Estimator II may also take the lead on assigned projects when working with a level I estimator and assists with the final assembly of estimates for customer presentation. Additionally, this role processes project quotations, verifies vendor bills of materials, prepares proposals and scope of work letters, assists with RFP responses, and helps with estimating change orders. Other duties include occasional cost studies.
