FZ is looking for an Electrical Estimator to support our Nashville, TN office. This role is responsible for preparing detailed quantity take-offs and project estimates. This role collaborates heavily with Field Operations, Purchasing, Leadership, and Project Managers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects over $3 million.
  • Experience estimating large commercial and industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in estimating in Accubid.
  • Ability to prepare conceptual budgets based on minimal information and specifications.
  • Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and project estimates.
  • Collaborating with Field Operations, Purchasing, Leadership, and Project Managers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
  • Gathering information for accurate work, including jobsite walk-throughs, calling vendors, and attending review meetings.
  • Analyzing bid documents to understand scope of work.
  • Reviewing vendor quotes.
  • Documenting and tracking project data.
  • Keeping dashboards up-to-date.
  • Communicating pertinent information to others.
