FZ is looking for an Electrical Estimator to support our Nashville, TN office. This role is responsible for preparing detailed quantity take-offs and project estimates. This role collaborates heavily with Field Operations, Purchasing, Leadership, and Project Managers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.

Requirements

5+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects over $3 million.
Experience estimating large commercial and industrial projects.
Proficiency in estimating in Accubid.
Ability to prepare conceptual budgets based on minimal information and specifications.
Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and project estimates.
Collaborating with Field Operations, Purchasing, Leadership, and Project Managers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
Gathering information for accurate work, including jobsite walk-throughs, calling vendors, and attending review meetings.
Analyzing bid documents to understand scope of work.
Reviewing vendor quotes.
Documenting and tracking project data.
Keeping dashboards up-to-date.
Communicating pertinent information to others.
