About The Position

Excellence Auto Collision - Silver Star is seeking an Estimator/Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role is responsible for creating appointments for the Loyalty Department and handling lease finance and cash portfolios. The company is part of the AutoCanada dealership network, which is the largest Canadian-owned and publicly traded automotive dealer group operating in Canada and the US. Requirements

  • College diploma or two years’ relevant experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/Outlook, Mitchell Connect and Audatex
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience working within a body shop or auto claims
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak Mandarin/Cantonese considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Create preliminary estimates and submit warranty claims for dealership approval
  • Assist with scheduling customer’s vehicles in for repair and collect payment upon delivery
  • Check in collision vehicles by taking intake photos and creating a work order
  • Support customer calls pertaining to repair status, insurance details and car rental inquiries
  • Proactively educate customers on the insurance and repair process to enhance the customer experience
  • Update customer information in the management system as required
  • Provide continuous repair updates to customers during the repair process
  • Assist with resolving customer issues as they arise in a professional and timely manner
