We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimating Specialist to join our team. For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $23.00 - $26.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Requirements

Estimating experience in construction, building materials, millwork, or a related industry.
Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and reading plans/specifications.
Strong math, computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience with CRM systems, follow-up, and recordkeeping.

Nice To Haves

Material takeoff experience and familiarity with millwork pricing software are a plus.

Responsibilities

Review plans and specifications to prepare accurate project estimates.
Create quotes and material takeoffs for contractors and customers.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams throughout the estimating process.
Maintain detailed project records and follow up on opportunities in the CRM system.
Manage multiple estimates and deadlines while providing excellent customer service.
