About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Sales Representative with a minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in the sales of landscaping materials and services within residential and commercial markets. The ideal candidate will combine a passion for outdoor design with proven sales ability, exceptional communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Requirements

Previous experience as a sales representative within the landscaping/horticulture industry
Knowledge of landscape contracting services, terminology, and practices
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have reliable transportation
Must have own land measuring tools
Energetic Self-starter
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Excellent Organization Skills
Excellent Command of the Technical Requirements of the Database and Word Processing
A Keen Eye for the Attention-to-detail Requirements of Estimating and Sales Activities

Responsibilities

To bring a consistent flow of profitable new Installation & Maintenance business to the Company, through the company’s sales and marketing plan
Respond promptly to all inquiries and proposal requests
To prepare and present approved proposals in a complete and professional manner
To maintain a company-owned database of current customers, prospective customers, and past customers to support the marketing and sales effort
To provide advice to the appropriate personnel on credit and collection matters related to work sold
Represents the Company in appropriate organizations to build relationships that lead to qualified new business
Anticipates customer needs with positive solutions timely effected; assists in the sales of change order work and contract extras
Maintains an accurate sales database
