About The Position

Lincoln Contracting & Equipment is seeking an Estimating Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. This role involves performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Manages 3-5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 20-50 employees in the Project foreman.
  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP designation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop Scopes of work and budgets for Design Build Projects.
  • Solicit subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers thru email list & Blue Book.
  • Continuously developing vendors & sub list for various work regions.
  • Maintain a Drop Box site so that prospective bidders can download the bid documents.
  • Coordinate the project requirements with the subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers required to bid the project.
  • Estimate the project cost & general conditions.
  • Develop spreadsheets that reflect the bid forms for projects.
  • Created various excel spreadsheets to expedite estimating take-offs.
