About The Position

Brooks Building Solutions is seeking a Building Automation Inside Sales/Estimator Intern for Summer 2027 in Jacksonville, FL. This internship offers hands-on experience in estimating and supporting commercial building automation projects, including work related to major developments like the new Jaguars stadium and Four Seasons Residential. The intern will assist with preparing estimates, proposals, and quotes, review project plans and specifications, support the sales team, and research equipment and materials. This role provides an opportunity to learn how building automation systems are designed, estimated, and sold.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Rising Junior or Senior, registered for full-time classes for Fall 2027
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in both an office and active job-site environment
• Available to complete a 10–12 week internship beginning May 24, 2027
• Interest in building automation, HVAC, or commercial construction

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, and quotes
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings
• Support the sales team with customer and project information
• Research equipment, materials, and project requirements
• Learn how building automation systems are designed, estimated, and sold
