About The Position

Brooks Building Solutions is seeking a Building Automation Inside Sales/Estimator Intern for Summer 2027. Gain hands-on experience estimating and supporting commercial building automation projects throughout Jacksonville, including work connected to major developments such as the new Jaguars stadium and Four Seasons Residential.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Rising Junior or Senior, registered for full-time classes for Fall 2027
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in both an office and active job-site environment
• Available to complete a 10–12 week internship beginning May 24, 2027
• Interest in building automation, HVAC, or commercial construction

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, and quotes
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings
• Support the sales team with customer and project information
• Research equipment, materials, and project requirements
• Learn how building automation systems are designed, estimated, and sold
