About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for an Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to join their team. This role supports the Proprietary Air Dominance Division and involves direct involvement with cost proposal development. Key activities include analyzing statement of work requirements, selecting appropriate estimating methodologies, substantiating estimates/pricing, and ensuring estimating system compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication. The company is open to various experience levels, including Level 2 and Level 3 Specialists.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
Experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) requirements / U.S. Government contracts
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of United States Government Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Experience performing parametric estimates and data analysis
Experience performing substantiated quick-turn (1-2 weeks) Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and tests of reasonableness

Responsibilities

Develops or leads estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program
Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices
Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals
Develops estimating and pricing methods
Evaluates and develops business cases
Performs analysis and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
Develops and maintains pricing models
Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals
Performs compliance activities including providing compliant cost volumes
