About The Position

The Estimating Administrator plays a key role in supporting the tender opportunities within the Estimating Department. This position is responsible for assisting the Estimating team through effective document management, data entry, and administrative support using platforms such as Google Drive, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in civil construction is considered an asset
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Google Workspace is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Maintain estimating systems, processes, and procedures
  • Perform general administrative and record-keeping functions
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors regarding bid invitations, pricing, addenda, and tender closings, when required
  • Support the estimating team in preparing accurate and timely bid submissions
