About The Position

Join Saluté Spa at Splendido, where exceptional spa services and a personalized approach to wellness come together in an elevated senior living environment. Located within Splendido, an award-winning luxury Life Plan Community in beautiful Oro Valley, Arizona, Saluté Spa offers residents and guests a welcoming space to relax, rejuvenate, and focus on their well-being. We’re looking for a passionate Esthetician who enjoys creating meaningful experiences through exceptional skincare and wellness services. In this part-time role, you’ll provide professional facials, waxing, and select body treatments while building genuine connections with residents and guests in a warm, hospitality-focused setting. This is a part-time role with flexible hours during the weekdays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or
  • Must hold and maintain a current State of Arizona Esthetics
  • Ability to use or learn a variety of tech-based services and platforms, e. Microsoft Outlook, resident facing portals, and spa specific appointment/ booking software.
  • Training in our spa specific facial protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities

  • Provides therapeutic massage through a variety of trained modalities to ensure resident and guest satisfaction and holds a genuine interest in helping them achieve wellness.
  • Provides professional facials, waxing services and select body treatments to our residents and guests in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
  • Ascertain precautions/contraindications for each spa guest and associated scheduled treatment(s) prior to treatment commencement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to age and gender related issues during all guest interactions; report any unusual interactions to supervisor immediately.
  • Provide consistent professional facial, waxing, esthetics, and select body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
  • Perform consecutive spa treatments, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
  • Properly care for professional spa equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
  • Continuously learns services and products while educating and training residents in these areas.
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Promote wellness retail programs.
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
  • Perform prep work and properly clean and restock treatment room as required.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  • Responsible for renewing therapist license as dictated by county/city/state regulation.
  • Ensure a high level of resident satisfaction and engagement by maintaining a courteous and professional manner through interactions with others.
  • Communicate with key staff, residents and/or residents’ families in a timely manner.
  • Support elements of employee wellness opportunities as requested.
  • Comply with Mather Code of Conduct, Policies, Compliance Program, and all applicable laws and regulations in performance of one’s job duties; report all known and suspected violations to their supervisor or manager, Mather Compliance officer, a Human Resources representative, or the confidential employee helpline.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the company Mission, Core Values, and IRBI philosophy.
  • Use discretion in handling confidential information, incorporating all Federal, State and local privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Ensure Mather consent protocols are followed across continuum for resident content.
  • Escort residents and guests throughout spa and salon.
