Requirements

JD from an accredited law school.
2+ years of experience in tax law, trust, and estate planning.
Active New Jersey law license (required).
Strong understanding of estate and gift taxation, fiduciary duties, and probate processes.
Excellent drafting, communication, and client service skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail.
Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and team-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

New York law license (preferred).
LLM a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel to clients on tax planning, estate planning, and the administration of trusts and estates.
Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
Advise clients on estate and gift tax issues, including strategies for minimizing taxes.
Assist with probate and trust administration matters, including the filing of tax returns and preparation of financial reports.
Stay current on changes in tax laws, estate planning, and related legal developments.
Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals (e.g., financial planners, accountants) to provide comprehensive service to clients.
