About The Position
GEO Prep Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school that serves students in grades K-8. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing an outstanding education for students each day as they transition from elementary to middle school to high school and COLLEGE. Our curriculum and teaching methods are designed using Core Knowledge in K-8 and a blended learning model in elementary school through high school. We are a TAP school! This is a 10-month position.
Requirements
- Associate or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Desire to grow professionally
- Commitment to the mission and organizational goals of GEO Academies
Responsibilities
- Maintain student service logs
- Provide service to students
- Assemble small groups
- Work individually with students
- Collaborate with general education teachers
- Attend all required staff meetings
- Work as a team member
- Attend all professional development opportunities
- Work under the direction of the Resource Teacher
- Other functions assigned by supervisor
- Follow all school policies
