About The Position

This is a full-time, 40-hour position for an RN in the Esophageal Diagnostic Procedural Lab (Motility). The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons and APPs in a fast-paced procedural environment. The ideal candidate will have nursing experience with an outpatient and/or surgical patient population. Procedures include EGD, bronchs, ablations, stent placement, pigtail placement, and thoracentesis. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide compassionate, quality care. Requirements

Nursing experience with outpatient and/or surgical patient population.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with all members of health care team to provide compassionate quality care.
ACLS required or must be obtained within 12 months of starting.

Nice To Haves

Procedural sedation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.
Assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
