About The Position

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a collaborative academic gastroenterologist with expertise in gastrointestinal motility and a strong commitment to patient-centered care, scholarly activity, and education. This role will focus on the evaluation and management of patients with gastric, small bowel, and lower intestinal motility disorders, including pelvic floor disorders, within a multidisciplinary academic practice. In addition, the position will include clinical work in nutrition support, including total parenteral nutrition and enteral nutrition. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology and should demonstrate interest in clinical and translational research aimed at phenotyping heterogeneous clinical presentations, identifying biomarkers, and developing disease-modifying therapies that improve outcomes and patient quality of life. Special consideration will be given to applicants with additional fellowship training or substantial clinical experience in caring for patients with motility disorders and complex nutrition support needs.

Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Ability to obtain an Arizona medical license.
  • Interest in clinical and translational research.
