The ESL Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district's curriculum program. This role involves preparing lessons that accommodate different learning styles, presenting subject matter according to established guidelines, and establishing efficient classroom management procedures. The teacher will also establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior, evaluate and record student progress, and teach within the prescribed course of study. Additionally, the ESL Teacher will identify pupil needs, cooperate with other staff to address student issues, and be available for counseling with students and parents. This position also involves interpreting educational programs to the community, planning the work of paraprofessionals, and participating in the evaluation process. Accurate record-keeping and timely reporting are essential. Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required.
