Help adult learners transform their futures as an ESL Instructor with Aurora Mental Health & Recovery's Adult Education Program. In this rewarding role, you will empower immigrants, refugees, and non-native English speakers to build English language skills, achieve greater independence, and reach personal, educational, and career goals. You'll provide engaging in-person instruction at multiple Aurora Public Schools (APS) sites, support student enrollment and assessment activities, connect learners to valuable wraparound services, and help create a welcoming, inclusive learning environment for students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving immigrant and refugee communities, has at least two years of adult education teaching experience, thrives in multicultural and multi-level classroom settings, and is comfortable utilizing technology to enhance learning.
