About The Position

A CEA-accredited ESL school serving adult international and domestic students is seeking a part-time ESL instructor for the Fall semester. This is an on-site teaching position with approximately 5–10 teaching hours per week, depending on enrollment, qualifications, and availability. We are looking for an organized, energetic, and culturally sensitive instructor who enjoys working with adult English-language learners and contributing to a collaborative academic environment. The school provides an established curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments, allowing instructors to focus primarily on effective teaching and student engagement rather than developing courses from the beginning. This is an on-site position and cannot be performed remotely.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience teaching English as a Second Language
TESOL, TEFL, TESL, CELTA, DELTA, or a comparable credential, or current enrollment in a related certification or degree program
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and classroom-management skills
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
Basic proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Office, or equivalent applications

Nice To Haves

Experience with adult learners is strongly preferred.
Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, Second Language Acquisition, or a closely related field are encouraged to apply.
