The ESE Teacher Aide will implement routine tasks independently, such as academic and behavioral instruction, as assigned under the direction of a certified staff member. This role involves assisting in the supervision of students, participating in required training, assisting with personal care and hygiene, performing clerical duties, creating and maintaining a safe learning environment, implementing individualized classroom activities, assisting staff with behavioral management, developing instructional materials, preparing records and reports, assessing student progress, communicating effectively with staff and parents, using specialized equipment, intervening in discipline situations when health and safety are at risk, demonstrating initiative, modeling ethical standards, following attendance and dress rules, maintaining confidentiality, fostering positive relationships, keeping the supervisor informed, monitoring student actions, responding to inquiries, following School Board policies, exhibiting interpersonal skills, supporting District goals, and maintaining sustained focus and attention to detail.
