About The Position

The Ese Counselor provides related services of counseling to ESE students to help them benefit from exceptional education. The role involves providing ongoing counseling and support to ESE students to improve their emotional well-being and academic performance.

Requirements

• An earned master’s degree in mental health counseling, school counseling, social work, psychology or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of three (3) years within the last five (5) years of successful experience as a mental health counselor, school counselor, clinical psychologist, school psychologist, social worker or in a field related to the title of the position.
• A valid Florida license as a counselor in a mental health-related field, or certification in social work, or school counseling.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
