About The Position

Transnation Title Agency is currently looking for an experienced and customer-focused Escrow Closer to join Ann Arbor team. This position is responsible for managing residential real estate closings from preparation through post-closing while providing exceptional service to buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and business partners. The ideal candidate has strong residential closing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support daily escrow operations while working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. This position may provide coverage at multiple locations and attend client or marketing events throughout the division.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of escrow closing, title, or real estate transaction experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of residential closings, title requirements, and escrow processes.
  • Experience reviewing closing documents, settlement statements, payoffs, deeds, and related documents.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn title and escrow software systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Michigan Residential Producer License preferred or ability to obtain as required.
  • Notary Public preferred or ability to obtain as required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct residential real estate closings in compliance with company procedures, lender requirements, and state regulations.
  • Communicate with customers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to ensure a smooth closing experience.
  • Review closing documents, verify information, obtain signatures, and ensure proper notarization.
  • Balance files and confirm funds are accurately received, documented, and disbursed.
  • Process escrow files, obtain required documentation, and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Assist with post-closing activities, including document review, payoffs, recording support, and file completion.
  • Provide office support as needed, including customer communication, file assistance, and coverage for team members.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and industry partners through excellent service and professionalism.
  • Attend company, client, and marketing events as needed.
