Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be able to work independently and in a group setting.
Requires exceptional communication, telephone and human relation skills to interact with patients, guests and staff.

Basic computer skills required.
Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

Transports patients and patient related items throughout the medical center in a safe and efficient manner.
Completes patient transports in a timely manner.
Maintains clean equipment.
Interacts politely and professionally with patients, visitors, and medical center staff.
Functions independently and as a team member, frequently with direction via phone or pager.
Works flexible hours, which include days, evenings, day/evenings, holidays, weekends and/or split shifts with rotating days off.
Stands and walks majority of work schedule.
Frequently push/pull up to 25 pounds, occasionally push/pull 50-80 pounds.
Requires full use of both hands, repetitive foot motion and trunk rotate/twist/reach.
