About The Position

Empower AI is seeking an ESB / Middleware Administrator to provide infrastructure support for CA servers, storage platforms, systems, networking equipment, and hosted systems at Department of State (DoS) facilities both domestically and overseas. This role is part of the customer Infrastructure Support Team, requiring comprehensive technical support for global infrastructure, including coordination with Post local IT staff and cloud service providers. The administrator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) environment, ensuring optimal integration and performance, and supporting the integration of database services with partner agencies and internal applications. This includes managing middleware and messaging queues (e.g., Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) infrastructure). Additionally, the role involves executing transitions to hybrid or multi-cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to enhance scalability, efficiency, and compliance with DoS policies. Maintaining security, load balancing, and Oracle appliances (e.g., Exadata, ZDLRA), ensuring correct patch levels and configuration, and supporting infrastructure audits, security assessments, and compliance reporting, including system baseline validation, are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's in IT or related field
  • Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide infrastructure support for CA servers, storage platforms, systems, networking equipment, and hosted systems at DoS facilities both domestically and overseas.
